.ERR2            Force Error during Pass 2                     MASM Directive

.ERR2

Forces a fatal error during assembly if encountered during pass 2.

Notes:     This directive could be used within conditional-assembly
blocks or macros to see what is expanded.

The error message that is generated by this directive is
'Forced error - pass2', which is error number 88.

If this directive is encountered, the object module is
deleted and the assembler exits with an exit code of 7.
